Kuala Ketil: A couple was found dead in the living room of the house in Taman Desa Bidara, here, this afternoon after they were believed to be victims of robbery.

In the incident at about 12 noon, the victim Zahari and Salmah Yahya Hussin, each aged 60, was found dead in suspected severe neck injuries believed to have been slashed with a sharp weapon.

It is learned that the bodies of the couple retired Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital (the hospital), Sungai Petani and Kuala Ketil Health Clinic found involved in the supine condition by returning her to lunch at his house.

Kedah CID chief ACP Mohd Nasir Yes, said the investigation found that both victims of death due to multiple slash wounds on the back of the neck with a sharp weapon.
